Inking it Up Crazy DT--Pink and Red

Helllooo and Happy Valentine's Day!! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and are ready for the start of the week. Today, Kassidy asked that we come up with a project using the colors pink and red. Here's my project for today!

I decided to do something a little different this time and make a gatefold card. I started with a 4 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of black cardstock. I scored it at 2 1/8" and 6 3/8". The printed paper is cut at 2" x 4". The Hello Kitty image was cut at 3.25". The white cardstock in the inside was cut at 4" x 4".

I LOVE cherries!

Hi everyone!

It's Thursday....the sun is shining and it feels amazing outside right now. Too bad there is snow headed my way later this evening. Here's a card I made this morning. I absolutely love cherries and cannot get enough of them. I think it's super cute!

The lighting is horrible in my craft room today. I need to figure something out to improve that. You can't see how the colors really pop on this. Sad.

Solid Paper is from Recollections
Patterned Paper is from DCWV Sweet Stack
Glossy Accents used to make the cherry shine
Black gel pen for stitching on the cherry stem
Black ribbon
Fiskars Scallop Punch
